 A Systematic Program
Mathematics is a subject that one cannot effectively learn without a certain methodological technique. E.nopi is a systematic program which includes a curriculum that is entirely divided into a series of levels. Without mastering a particular level, it becomes increasingly difficult for a student to understand problems in the next upper levels of the curriculum. The levels are connected in a chainlike manner, and the program creates an environment where students progressively learn and master each mathematical concept.
Independent and Proactive Learning
The E.nopi MATH program is designed to encourage students to acquire independent learning skills. The curricula are developed in such a way that the degree of difficulty gradually increases so that each child can progress at an individual pace without major intervention from a teacher or instructor. The purpose of the curriculum is to break down the complexity of mathematical concepts so that students are encouraged to study and learn the concepts on their own and further deepen their critical thinking. The primary motive of the program is to make students as comfortable as possible in solving problems by allowing a clear and straightforward understanding the mathematical concepts. Students learn one concept at a time and develop the ability to extrapolate their critical abilities to succeed when faced with novel concepts and problems.
Interactive Progress Guidance
Independent and proactive learning is a key goal of the E.nopi program; therefore, teachers or instructors are encouraged to intervene only when necessary. A teacher can assess the learning level of a student and may decide that the student requires some personal guidance to progress through that level. Program materials provide instructors with detailed guidelines for assisting students who experience difficulty with learning tasks such that enable them to continue a proactive, independent approach to learning. Tools are provided to assess student progress, and the program encourages parents' involvement by allowing them to provide instructors with appropriate feedback on their child's progress. A regular and frequent communication between students, parents and the instructor is an integral part of the E.nopi program.
Excellent Materials
An educational program may not achieve successful outcomes if its materials do not support the development of students' critical thinking and analytical skills. Our vision supports the utilization of materials that are specifically designed to enable students to learn proactively in a supportive educational environment that is provided by the instructor or parents. The role of the instructor is to select appropriate materials for a student and ensure that the student remains focused and learns effectively. Teaching materials range from rich workbooks to a variety of Teaching Tools (manipulatives).
Guaranteed Success
A superior program attempts to ensure success in all cases. Students who develop excellent problem-solving skills through E.nopi MATH are also inclined to do well in other school subjects. Students who solve mathematical problems through reasoning and logic apply the same skills while solving problems in other subject areas. Critical thinking skills and analytical skills empower students in formal classroom settings, enabling them to perform at or above the usual class levels in school. |
